About Kaleidoscope Publishing and Timeless DVD

Kaleidoscope Publishing began in 1999 as a small, personal graphic design studio that assisted small businesses, nonprofits, and individuals with print and web projects. Kaleidoscope quickly found itself specializing in books, newsletters, and websites.

In 2004, Kaleidoscope Publishing decided to focus its attention on its exploding business, Timeless DVD. Timeless DVD specializes exclusively in DVD video transfer and DVD photo slideshows, with a focus on creating a professional DVD that can be given as a gift.

About the owner and designer, Jennica Musselman . . .

Jennica Musselman is the owner of Kaleidoscope Publishing and Timeless DVD. Samples of her design work are available throughout this website and on the Timeless DVD website.

Jennica received her B.A., summa cum laude, in English and Writing from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. She then earned an M.A. in Publishing and Digital Design from Rosemont College in 2002.

She has extensive experience on both the Macintosh and Windows platforms. Software experience includes Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Quark XPress, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash, Final Cut Pro, Ulead DVD Workshop, Adobe Encore DVD, and many additional DVD and video programs.

She has experience in spot and 4-color process production, prepress file organization, color separations, binding (including perfect and hardcover); and paper selection. Her web experience includes HTML and JavaScript coding; graphic slicing; Flash animation, audio and video presented on the web; and Filemaker database–web integration. Her DVD and video experience includes editing in Final Cut Pro, encoding MPEG-2 video, DVD menu creation, DVD authoring, and DVD case and disc design.

Freelance projects include:

• Current History magazine – monthly layout and proofreading of foreign policy journal

• Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church – many projects including the design of the church newsletter, brochures, and a 200-page paperback book for a pastor

• Three websites for international wildlife organizations affiliated with the World Conservation Society (two including extensive video and one featuring a worldwide database). These include the Veterinary Specialist Group of the IUCN; AHEAD (Animal Health for the Environment and Development); and One World One Health.

• A 200-page hardcover book of memoirs for John Haas of chemical company Rohm and Haas; book features many photos in color and black-and-white

• Lycoming College Choir – multiple projects: website for nationally-known college choir; website for alumni choir; DVD with edited video of 2005 reunion and history slideshow

• Hands Along the Nile – corporate identity and newsletter design for nonprofit

• Genevieve Smith Whitford – book design and marketing materials for well-known poet

• Beautiful Smiles Dental – corporate identity and website

• Jennifer Graf – websites for professional opera singer; also design for singer's first CD

• Dr. Kathryn Chilcote – website for professional opera singer and author

• Olde Towne Carolers – website for professional Victorian caroling group
